5.2 Validators

PAYING FOR ATTENTION

Ad buyers, publishers and partners will be Proof Of Stake (PoS) validators on the network; the benefits of this are as follows:

  1. They strengthen the network. This is great for security and also for each ecosystem YappaFi is used on.

  2. Validators will create additional income through the rewards from supporting the ecosystem.

  3. A portion of all revenue from NFT sales, and additionally node yield.

  4. Initial API Validator costs from publishers will go to purchase YappaFi in a buyback system gradually increasing the value of YappaFi.

  5. Publishers will then generate a yield from nodes (more information in section 25).

  6. Publishers will be rewarded through signups to YappaFi and a bonus if users stay for over 60 days. (There will also be a reward for the amount of user engagement based on the success of viral content).

  7. Publishers are rewarded for increases in video Yaps because they prove to advertisers that they are genuine users and not bots, which increases the data pool further benefiting ads.

  8. Users can gift tokens (Up Yap) to publishers for content they enjoy similar to a like.
